Counseling Intern
Adults and Adolescents

I am an intern and currently studying for my master’s in clinical mental health counseling at Adam’s
State University of Colorado. My undergrad was in fine arts from the University of California
Santa Cruz. I have an underlining creative, artistic approach in how I approach counseling.
The counseling theories that resonate most with my personal life philosophy is Existential,
Humanistic, Person-Centered and Feminist & Queer critical theory. I hope to integrate these
flexible theories and their many overlapping elements into my own work with clients. I
would like to be a guide in my practice to help clients deepen their self-awareness, empower
them and gain freedom from what holds them back from an authentic life.
When I am not working at schooling or counseling, I typically enjoy family time with my sisters,
my two children and our sweet dachshund puppy. I love anything art related and often am
doing printmaking projects and portrait photography for families. I recharge by going out for
walks in nature, soaking up the sun and gardening.
