Counseling Intern

Humans are resilient and dynamic beings capable of great healing and recovery. I am a Clinical Intern, working towards my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado Denver. I approach therapy from a holistic, mindfulness based perspective, believing that your experience impacts your body, mind, and soul. Using modern, evidence-based, effective therapeutic approaches I focus on supporting you in achieving a healthy lifestyle, and improve relationships and mood overall. I utilize a multicultural and social justice oriented lens, striving to provide a welcoming and supportive space for all.

I take an experiential, client-centered approach, implementing techniques derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), leaving room for eclecticism and tailoring to the needs of the individual. My areas of focus are trauma, relationship issues, codependency, religion and spirituality, anxiety, and depression.
