Individual Counseling

Are you facing difficult challenges that leave you feeling overwhelmed and alone?

Individual therapy can help with overcoming difficult life challenges while promoting a greater sense of self and overall well-being.

Our therapists can provide you with tools and skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, setting realistic goals, and achieving personal growth.

Some of the issues that can be addressed in therapy include; anxiety, depression, grief and loss, career and education, relationships, anger, sexuality, unhealthy behaviors, mood disorders, and life transitions.

Couples and Family Counseling

"What counts in making a happy marriage is not so much how       incompatible you are, but how you deal with incompatibility."                                                                                  - Leo Tolstoy

Our counselors help couples and families who are looking to improve connection, communication, and strengthen their relationships.

Some of the issues we can help with include; codependency, creating and maintaining healthy boundaries, parenting, co-parenting after divorce, blended families, changing family dynamics, marriage and premarital issues, infidelity, family planning, pregnancy, postpartum depression, grief and loss.

Children and Adolescents

Children and adolescents get counseling for a variety of reasons, it is important to consider their developmental stage when treating problems.

Throughout their young lives, as children grow they face changes at each developmental stage. Some of these changes are predictable, while others are not.

This can make it difficult for parents and caregivers to know when the change reflects normal development, or when it is a sign or symptom of something that might interfere with normal development.

If you have noticed concerning changes with your child, or your child is experiencing distressing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, anger, or mood swings, our therapists are here to help.

Group Counseling

Group therapy is just as effective, and sometimes even more effective than individual counseling.

Group therapy usually consists of 8 - 10 participants and 2 therapists who facilitate and co-facilitate the activities and discussions.

There are different types of group therapy including; support groups and skills groups. Support groups are a great way to connect with others who have had similar experiences with things like divorce, trauma, grief, and loss. Skills groups are beneficial for those looking to increase self-awareness and personal growth.
