Child and Adolescent Counseling

Our trained therapists work with kids and teens in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where they can explore and work through challenging situations, experiences, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Why should I bring my child or adolescent to therapy?

Just like adults, children and adolescents experience difficult or challenging situations that can lead to depression, anxiety, or other symptoms related to stress. Therapists are trained in childhood development and understand how changes in cognitive, emotional, or social development can affect thinking, mood, and behavior in kids and teens.

It is sometimes difficult for parents and caregivers to recognize the subtle differences between normal periods of growth and when these changes may reflect something more serious. If you are unsure if what your child is experiencing is part of normal growth and development, our therapists can help.
